Phillipe, correct me if I'm wrong, but the grandfathered the "big cars" that were left around the turn of the century, but all new cars basically could only be Metric cars the way the rules were written. I don't remember Camaro's or Nova's ever being allowed, though I do remember a #41 that was a Plymouth Barracuda and Kevin Mason did run a 90's Thunderbird. Both of those cars ran pretty good too. But now it's exclusivley Metrics.

Limited Sportsman. Kind of a watered down version of the Sportsmans there. If you really look at it though, it's not terribly far off.
Kendo is pretty much correct. To win, you have to spend buku bucks. You can buy a pretty decent used car for around 7500 to 10k and go out and win, but my opinion is within the next 2 seasons of owning a used car, you will pretty much spend that extra 10k you saved replacing worn out or broken parts. I prefer to build brand new and know how old everything is to avoid issues as much as possible. I went a little over the top with this car but because I race at Thompson, I'd rather do a little more than not enough.
OS, I would have to re do the entire front and rear end to make it even close to competitive with guys like Patrick. I don't settle for second very well. I am way too competitive. I'd rather build a car as nice or better than his if I can. Scott knows what I came across not long ago. I'll have a nice chassis being built this winter.
Car count for this division last night was 22. A little lighter than normal which I attribute to the fact that there is a touring series of these cars that races Friday night and a lot of the guys who didn't show last night, run that tour. We also had 33 tour mods, 19 ACT Late Models, 19 Mini Stocks, 20 SK Modifieds and 11 Vintage Modifieds which never really have a big count anyway because most of our vintage cars have rotted away to nothing up here due to the wonderful winters we have.

the #41 is my crew cheif Joe Brocket with the Brockett Rocket! lol Kevin still has his Thunderbird though he lost a motor at the Icebreaker and was not there last night. Moose Douton also has a Tbird now but is lacking a little bit of power cause his cam is geared more towards the smaller tracks. The rest are ALL G metric cars. Some are full stock frame such as mine, some have a tube Johnson clip and some are a full tube chassis from Johnson. The stock frame cars run the best out of all.
