Hopped in the car again and headed north to BRP for the initial Tony Stewart All Star Sprint Show. Very cold night. Funny how the cold seems to leave when the cars are on the track. 22 All Star Sprints and 27 UMP modifieds. Passing was at a premium this Friday night but Kerry Madsen made the most important pass of the 30 lapper as he took the lead on the final lap. The Sprint feature is covered very nicely on the BRP Facebook page. Now I'm not the biggest facebook fan in the world but BRP changed my mind with their great coverage of this race on facebook. Even a U-tube summary. Their site also has a complete All Star rundown. Now my question: Why no UMP Mod coverage as of yet ? Pretty good 25 lapper with Fuzzy Adams #40 taking the win. #77 Bollinger was 2nd, with #36 Kenny Wallace 3rd, Schrader in the #9 was fourth and #19 Ziegler (sp) rounding out top 5. #1 Gilpin dropped out of the race on lap 17 while leading. Wallace was charging hard for 2nd at the finish but had to settle for 3rd. Six cautions in this 25 lapper. Hopefully no DQ's. Surprised to see the Zuber Dog no longer posted on the menu as they are now called Bubba Dogs....oh well they still are good....gonna have another one tonight.....See ya there !!!
