REMEMBER, A CAR MUST RUN THE SAME RR IN BOTH THE HEAT RACE AND
AND THE FEATURE.
TIRES MAY NOT BE SOAKED, TREATED OR ALTERED
The rear tires will be durometer tested before the heat race The Minimum
hardness readings are:
left rear, M130 compound = 48-50 right rear, 132 compound = 58-60
If a tire does not pass this test, the team will have time to change that tire before
the race. The replacement tire will also have the same durometer test.
In post race tech:
Track reserves the right to deflate or dismount tires to inspect for tire prep.
