SPEEDWORLD TO TRY AGAIN THIS WEEK - BIG SHOW ON TAP!
After yet another rain out last week, Orlando SpeedWorld hopes to return to
stock car racing action one final time this Friday night before closing during
the hot and rainy months of July and August. Eight classes are slated to be in
action.
The popular Sportsman cars will be running this week and will be joined by the
Modifieds, Pro Trucks, Legend Cars, Strictly Stocks, Four Cylinder Stocks,
Bandoleros and Antique Stock Cars.
Gates open Friday afternoon at 4 pm with grandstand gates opening at 6 pm and
racing beginning promptly at 8 pm. Adult admission is $12 with all seniors
(65+) and military with valid ID admitted for $10. All kids 11 years of age
and under get in free.
After the two month hiatus, SpeedWorld will return to racing on Friday night,
September 5th with adult grandstand admission at just $5 for the remainder of
the year in honor of the track's 40th anniversary.
