Practice and Racing canceled at Citrus County due to very wet forecast !

With a forecast of torential rains and 60-80% chance of rain tomorrow and Saturday, and to avoid Sprint Car drivers & others spending a bunch of money to come, and with the chance of badly flooded infield and other areas. We have made the decision to cancel practice and racing for this weekend. No one likes to make these decisions, but we are truly looking out for the drivers spending funds to just sit around and watch it rain. The forecast is not good, and we are trying to b...e proactive with this. We apologize and we know some will not understand, and it may not rain as much as the forecast but we still feel it is the right move in many ways. We can not promise that these races can be made up, with other weather issue nights and a busy schedule we may just have to lose some of these events. If we can see a way to make them up we will try, that is the best we can say at this time. Please pray for those who have been killed in terrible weather in the southeast and for all those flooded out in the panhandle and Haines City.
