Another "Blast from the Past"

Had the pleasure of meeting "Bing" Metz who stopped by the Archives yesterday and had him autograph this photo... It's a picture of him before his first career race driving a TQ Midget in 1969 at New Egypt Speedway in New Jersey... Metz went on to compete on the URC Sprint car circuit where he finished second in points several times... He retired briefly then returned to racing the TQ's at the age of 40... His dad was also a racer and later an official for NASCAR...
