It has been that a driver must be at least 55 years old, retired for at least 3 years, and to have raced in NASCAR at least 10 years. Now if you are 55,and raced 30 yrars, that even if you are still driving in NASCAR (Mark Martin,Terry Labonte, and Bill Elliot) you are AUTOMATICALLY in the top 20 drivers that can be put into the Hall of Fame.A driver still has to be voted into the hall by the panel of judges. Also, only twenty drivers instead of 25.This deemed in press releases today,or yesterday.Any thoughts?
