AWESOME night of racing at OSW last night. Twin Bomber 25's. Very exciting and great racing. It was the second asphalt race for Jamie Sullivan, who was holding her own. After hitting the wall, her car seemed to straighten itself out a bit. Not before spinning out Luis Guillen in the first race and sending him to the back of the pack for a white/checker finish.
Protrucks and Sportsman ran together, Matthew Green and Colby Clements were racing hard, and Matthew had a great save from hitting the wall on turn 1
A field of 6 OW mods made for some fast racing. One spin out from Bruce Packer, but the race continued quickly.
Neil Kirby is the man to beat in the Bomber races as he won both features last night. That Ford Probe can move, and Neil has the moves to get through traffic to the front of the pack.
A thank you to the track and drivers for a wonderful night of racing. The kids enjoyed the rides in the race cars during intermission. Afterwards, the pits were opened to the fans, and our Aiden loved talking to the drivers, telling them good racing. Mr Luis Guillen was kind enough to offer to allow him to sign the car. We got to talk to some of the drivers last night, it was nice to meet you.
If you have not been to OSW lately, you need to come by. If you are a fan or a driver, it is a great night for family. Where else can you get that kind of entertainment for 12 bucks (grandstands).
