Two nights of racing this weekend at Charlotte County Motorsports Park June 13 & 14
Friday night will be a big race night for the backbone classes, the Road Warriors will run fifty laps, Pro 4 and Fab 4 will also run fifty laps, and the Thunder Trucks will run 35 laps. The legends will be here for both nights of racing. Some Super Late Models will be pulling in Friday night like Billy Bigley Jr who will be with his boys who will be running in the pro 4 fifty lapper. There will be a practice scuff session Friday night for the Supers that come in Friday night staying for the big race on Saturday. Friday gates open at 5pm and racing starts at 7pm. Saturday will be 100 laps for the Super Late Models, last race was won by Wayne Anderson with Mike Franklin second and Richie Anderson third. This week will be a points race, so points leader Scott Walters out of Naples will be there to try to keep the points lead and maybe a second win, Scott won the first race of the season. Also on the schedule will be the Legends, Mini Stock, Dwarf Cars T.Q. Midgets and a fan favorite the Florida Suncoast Outlaw Street Stock for fifty laps. Will it be Vernon Hart Jr., Donnie Ollie Jr. or Darrin Ellis who have all been in the winners circle with the series. Saturday the pits open at 9am the front gates open at 4pm racing starts at 6pm.
