1) Neil Bonnett won on February 21, 1988, at Richmond International Raceway.

2)Buddy Baker. Buddy won the Winston 500 at Alabama International Motor Speedway on May 2, 1976, in a Dodge in 2:56:37 with an average speed of 169.887.

Great minds think alike..... It's pretty ironic that both of you guys attached the same picture too. It was "Tiger" Tom Pistone. The answer that I was looking for for the other question was Bristol Motor Speedway. But Ancrdave I don't doubt your answer of Daytona one bit.

2) Daytona International Speedway hosted Bethune-Cookman College and high school football games in the grass of the tri-oval during the early-1960s... Not sure if that's what you are looking for, but it's a fact!
