Had a good time saturday,watching the Super Late Model 50 lap feature racel
It was basically Jeff Scofield and Wayne Anderson,with Scofield winning the race.Anderson was second.Jake Perkins third,with Eddie King fourth.
i LOVE THE TRACK.You are virtually on top of the track.As close as you can get to not being in the car itself.You can see the drivers and how they are steering and working the car.
The number 82 of Nieghbors jr..either broke a rotor or caliper on his car.Every time he cAME OUT OF TURN 4,He showered the fans with sparks out of the exsaust.That;s how close you are.Had a fairly large field with 19 cars,although Justin Larson blew up his motor hot lapping and didnt compete.
I talked to Darryl Shelnut ad David King about the closing of PGS (Punt Gorda Speedway).Jake Perkins is now 16 and boy did he sprot up.Doesnt look like a kid anymore.He looks all grown up and is driving like it too.
I kidded Robert Yoho,calling Late Model feature the PGS Memrial.Yoho said on the mic,thea Kevin Williams and himself were going to work together,and run alternating schedules so they don't conflict.That's a good thing.
So good job Robwert Yoho.I enjoy the track.Keep up the good work.For fans,its the best seating at a speedway.The only other track that compares is Shady Bowl speedway in Ohio.
My only complaijt,is to have a better sign at the entrance of the track.If you've never been there,It's hard to find.Good luck to Showtime in future eventsl
