Joanna Long gets more out of her car than Danica does. Her race at Phoenix was soon hort, because Sam Hornish missed a gear shift, and Long ran in the back of him and messed up her car.
Overall she gets more out of her car and skills and Patrick does wih her multi-million dollar team.At least Long won the Sowball Serby once
Probably putting on her make up when she hit hornish.

When Mz. Long wins an Indy Car race we'll have something to compare to. I don't believe Danica Patrick ever entered the Snowball, so again we have nothing to compare to. You hate Danica and everything about Danica. We get it.
But i'll bet Tony Stewart knows exactly who Mz. Long is. And if he thought she would have been the best choice to help along in her career, and later hire as a team mate, i'm sure he would have.
I think you mean - if he thought she could bring an endless supply of $$ he would have hired her like he did danica.
No, that's not what i meant. Danica didn't start out driving for Tony. Tony recommended that she go to JR Motorsports for a year or two of Nationwide racing to get her some experience. The only one that might have made money off of that was Jr. Tony agreed to help her career several years ago because he knew she could drive an Indy car and felt she could probably also drive a stock car with some time behind the wheel.
Now as to having to bring sponsor dollars along with you to a NASCAR ride.... that shouldn't come as news.
If you think Tony's interest has to do with the amazing talent of Danica - you are naive at best. Her crowning achievement in IndyCar was a joke. She was in one of the best rides there for years and consistently underachieved. Tony saw an opportunity to lock up sponsorship dollars and hype for his team. He did just that.
As for recommending she play with JR Motorsports for a while first, I dont blame him for letting her tear up as much equipment elsewhere first. They were in dire need of sponsorship as well.
She won a race at an average speed of 164. The other lead lap cars were Castroneves, Dixon, Wheldon, Kanaan, Carpenter and Hunter-Reay. No joke at all, she beat the best in the business that day.
"The historical event was made possible through excellent planning and strategy on the part of the Andretti Green team. Danica sat in fourth with 4 laps to go, but fuel starvation forced Dan Wheldon and Tony Kanaan into the pits. Fuel level was also an issue with Castroneves, he was in conservation mode in the final laps. Thanks to the efforts of her crew, Patrick had enough fuel to maintain speed throughout the race and take her first, and hopefully not last, win in the big leagues."
O.K., RandyS. You were way off this week. You predicted Qualify 26th, Finish 28th. Actual results Qualify 40th, Finish 39th. Danica says she likes Las Vegas, what's your prediction? Remember, her lone top 5 (4th place) in her 59 Nationwide starts came here in Las Vegas in 2011. Don't think it was a gas mileage deal...
When one of "those" races (fuel mileage, rain, etc) is the lone highlight, yes the asterisk means something. In earnhardts case, though I couldnt stand him, he was undeniably good. Asterisks aren't going to detract from that.
I felt the same for David R after he won the rain race at Charlotte. Was glad to see him get a solid one later.
I was rooting for danica at daytona, would have loved to see the circus that wouldhave ensued after a win at the 500.
The FMSC was the "Florida Mini Stock Car" series (or something to that effect - "modified" Mini Stocks). They ran all over the state - including a weekend with (Super) Late Models at Sebring on the road course.
