I know it was the Gov Cup weekend and the last racing at NSS for 2011 but it was great to see the big fields in most classes. According to the results posted in another thread there were 159 cars in the pits over a two day period. There were 4 classes besides the SLM that had 20.
It wasn't long ago that we would see most classes pretty close to that on a regular basis.......at least between 15-20 cars in most classes.
Well at least we know the cars are out there. Just have to find a way to entice them to the track on a regular basis again.
Hopefully things will get better economically and we can start seeing the counts creep back up. It just makes for a lot more fun to race and to watch.
