It's getting exciting!!!!

As the season comes down to the last four races...........the points battle for the FMARA Tq-Midgets gets really interesting. Going into next Sat. night( Oct. 8) at Punta gorda Speedway, there is a mere 16 points that seperate Geoff Styner in the S&S Racing #2 and Jack Duffy in the Duffy Racing #1 for second place. Points leader Mike Belusar in the McKinney Special #30 is a full 100 points ahead. In a very interesting battle, John Ciolino in the #14 leads Steven Maier in the #23 by 4 points for the highly respected 2011 Rookie of the Year title. Ciolino also sits tied with Jamie Barnum in the Barnum Racing #7 for fourth in points. Keeping these numbers in mind...each spot on the race track is four points! With the next three races back-to-back, anything can happen. Will the stress and fatigue play a role in how it all works out by the last race of the season? There could be some spoilers that could get in between the points battles, we are happy to have Stu Chamberlain back and David Patterson is rumored to bought a new engine for his car. Could Chris Gimmler in the Gimmler Motorsports #51 return and mix the points battles up? Make sure you make plans to come out and catch one of these exciting races before the season ends.

If you are looking for fast, side-by-side racing, with alot of passing, come to Punta Gorda Speedway on Oct. 8, Citrus County Speedway on Oct. 15 & Punta Gorda Speedway on Oct. 22. The final race of the season will be at Punta Gorda Speedway in Nov.
