A fatal drunk driving accident vs a speeding ticket where nobody was impaired, scratched or innocently involved...yep. I guess both cars had four wheels, that's "in common" also.

BTW, I can't think of too many that didn't like Rob Moroso.
Hey Legend, the sarcasm wasn't even good, consider the source, just average run of the mill.
The real issue here is if Kyle Busch scratched his right cheek with his left hand there are many who would want to kill him. And they can't stand the fact he is as good a driver in NASCAR as anyone and better than most. Sarcastic? Yeah, some, but not any worse than a lot of us right here, me included. The differance with me is I admit it!!!

      Try these three things:

      1. Let someone who knows how to be humorous read your posts first before you embarass yourself with disconnected and decidedly unfunny ramblings.

      2. See if you can make it through a post without referring to yourself at least three times.

      3. Pull your lip up over your head and sha-wallow. (thank you Mr. Mathau)

What I saw were two incredibly talented individuals who thought they were invincible, that did something stupid and dangerous. One was killed and will never realize his potential. One was lucky and was stopped by the police before he was killed or killed someone else. I'll bet plenty wish Moroso had been stopped by the police first. I'm sorry you can't see the correlation, but Gary, OJ, and I did.

The problem I - and some other people, apparently - have is that he was in a *residential neghborhood*, on a two-lane road, with a 45-mph *speed limit* (there's a reason it's called a "limit", knuckleh...I mean, Tunahead...) *doing nearly 100 mph OVER that posted "limit". The punk has no reason, really, to be going *that fast* on the streets, when it's pretty much what he does for a living - in a controlled environment (i.e., RACE TRACK) - nearly every week. On the highway, you *never* know what the f***er in the car coming at you is going to do. Hell, I was involved in a highway accident with a loaded U-Haul truck and ended up on the wrong side of I-95 in Georgia (after a tire blew out at 65mph, I crossed through the median, and ended up in the opposite lanes of traffic and couldn't control the truck, because the brake line was cut when the tire blew - but that's another story...LOL).

Point being...Kyle may not have "walked", or "bought his way out"; the point is, he shouldn't have been going that fast to begin with. He's still a kid, who thinks he's invincible, and one of these days, that attitude (way of thinking, not necessarily the "smart-assness") of his is going to get his a$$ kicked...

What if he *had* hit someone, and seriously hurt or killed someone? Then what your position on this thing be, huh??

O'k mr professor, i agree on most of what you're saying....But, the law was upheld to the limit, no exceptions made so the debate really is, did the law do all that it is allowed to do? Yes, so tell me, how do you keep saying Busch was given special treatment??? Was what he did wrong??, Yes!! He said so himself apologized for it, will pay the maximum fine, probably lose his license for a while, so what do you want now?? Ban him from NASCAR, lock him up for 5 yrs? Execute him? That cant happen, its not legal. Problem is you simply don't like him, thats fine, thats your right, I do, why? Because I sympathize with him, He is no more of a wise ass than Stewart was, SR. was, Waltrip was or you would be (I can definately tell that for sure) if you got fired for me and beet my ass every week, thats a normal reaction. I would bow too, be a little cocky if I showed up my replacement almost every week. SSuck it up professor, hes better than most, and you can't stand it!!!

Tuna, we all know you like Kyle. I agree he's a great driver, probably the best there is right now. I won't go so far as to say the best ever. There's a reason that people don't like him and it doesn't have anything to do with him beating others. He is nothing like Stewart or Dale Sr. They were competitive people that hated to lose and were outspoken. They came from nothing and worked their way to the top. They both had their haters. DW is a little more like him with the arrogance but still not the same. DW did mature but he was hated when he was young. I think the reason most don't like him is he has a spoiled rich kid attitude and always seems to whine when things don't go his way. He almost never accepts responsibility for his actions and it's obvious he has his handlers coaching his every statement made regarding the speeding incident. There's also something called charisma and he just doesn't have it. That has nothing to do with his ability and there's nothing he can do about it. He just doesn't have it and never will. He's cocky and he can be. However, most people like humble individuals and not cocky ones. How many people hate Mark Martin? He use to win a lot but you never heard boo's. He's a humble winner and people like that. JMO

                  To Winger

Believe it or not, I agree with almost everything you say. I like Mark Martin, although overrated a little bit but still great and on tv a great person. Although I know several people that met him in person and they say he's very arrogant. I also have personally waved to him near his home, walking near his home as he looked me straight in the eye and never will even wave, but again, I let's say respect him. Sr may of been the best driver ever, definitely one of the best. But just in my opinion he got away with a lot and did have a kind of arrogant attitude. Stewart? Another great driver, in my opinion not in the same league with Waltrip, Sr. MAYBE Martin but probably not. Stewart HAD as bad an attitude as anyone, including Busch. Stewart has grown up a lot, so has Busch, he has a lot of growing up to do. Yes, I honestly can't say I like him or dislike him. He definitely is not my most favorite PERSON, BUT as much as I'll be bashed and kicked for this, and I'll say again, I could care less. IF I! OR YOU WERE FIRED FOR SOMEONE ELSE and YOu or I beet that person almost on a weekly basis, and from day one got booed for it, either of us would of been a little cocky too. You know, the bowing, counting wins on our fingers as everyone booed, yes we would be the same way, especially at 20 some yrs old. In fact If it were me I'd want to turn around and moon the fans, kinda saying, "take that, AGAIN". Also I would to my former boss, in this case Mr. Hendrick. Someone said Kyle has an unrepentive attitude? Evidently they haven't read his many statements. If this had been Jr, whom by the way I feet is a great guy, just not the driver everyone wants him to be, anyhow if it was him, most fans would be laughing about it. So do I like Kyle, I don't know, but I always have rooted for the underdog and I laugh my butt off every time he beets his replacement. In fact, look how much he does for Gibbs as compared to Stewart where he is now. Stewart screwed up leaving Gibbs. Plus look at KARNAC, if it wasn't for this subject this place would of been dead this week.
