Man this kid 26 years old got his shi... together. He's was the most HATED NASCAR Driver and now has turn in to being one of the BIGGEST STAR's. Joe Gibbs has done wonders. Dale Sr was the best. Some say Kyle is as good now and will raise the bar. Look at all he's done this year. What do you think????? Believe me I am Dale's side,but dang it. He's good!!!!!

Want to bet he WOULD of won 2-3 championships if Hendrick had kept him??? Everyone knows Hendrick gets all kind of brakes from NASCAR. Equal equipment Kyle can outdrive Gordon and Jimmy any day. And i like Johnson, cant stand Gordon, he's the biggest cry baby in NASCAR.

its called finese, or however thats spelled. (Sure wish my buddy Professor McKinley was here to correct me) I loved Earnhardt but you couldnt call him a finese driver, and he DID get away with a lot more than most drivers.

I don't consider any of the current crop to hold a candle to David Pearson, Richard Petty, Joe Weatherly, Junior Johnson, Herb Thomas, The Flock Brothers, Cale Yarborough, Ned Jarrett, Bobby Isaac, Fireball Roberts, Jack Smith, Bobby Allison, Buck Baker, Curtis Turner etc.
These guys drove full-size real stock cars with no power steering, power brakes, radios or computers and got the job done....
Today, everything is based on communication - how you communicate with your crew chief and the technicians who monitor your cars' performance... Both Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson are two of the best at doing it and that's why they are so successful... Just being able to gut it out and drive by the seat of your pants doesn't work too well nowadays...
Also, just think what the record book would look like right now had we not lost the following drivers: Fireball, Billy Wade (he was on his way to being a superstar before he was killed in '64), Davey Allison, Alan Kulwicki, Adam Petty and Tim Richmond...
