I just learned something I didn't know before. I'm all about learning history, and I just did. Thanks for being civil.

just talked to Bobby
Brett drove the 2x I BELIEVE several times. He still comes over and visits Bobby most speed weeks. Geoff AND Todd each drove the 2x once each. One at Thompson and one at Stafford. I never said a lot, I simply said all 3 Bodines drove the 2x, they did. As did also Bugsy Stevens, 5 times winning 3 features. This is when they all worked all day and raced 2-4 times a week. Bobby had a gas station, Buggy had, and as of 3 yrs ago still has a junk yard. Again, just verified by Bobby Judkins!!!Originally posted by UREZ2PASS View PostBrett Bodine drove the 2x for sure.

Brett Bodine drove the 2x for sure.Originally posted by Frasson118 View PostStill don't think either Geoff of Todd Bodine drove the 2x. During those years, Geoff drove the 99's (T K McClean owned), the Dick Armstrong 1, and a 99 for Lee Allard. Todd never really spent any time in open wheeled cars, running full bodied cars in the south.Last edited by UREZ2PASS; 10-31-2011, 12:11 PM.

Dave, the 94 Kodak car stumps me. It looks familiar, but drawing a blank in my mind. Kinda looks like it may be an ARCA car.

Geoff Bodine, Todd Bodine DID drive the 2x, how muc i do not kow. Also Bugsy Stephens.,5 times, winning 3 features. You are right, about the Bouchards, i had forgot them. Not sure if it was the "tribute car" you peak of Frasson but someone found one of the old 2x and have rebuilt it as accurately as possible. Bobby oldme the other day it was very close with some things a little differant because of the difficulty findine parts.Originally posted by Frasson118 View PostTo my knowledge, Todd Bodine never drove the 2x, and I'm pretty sure Geoff didn't either. Brett Bodine did run for Bob. A few others were both Ron & Kenny Bouchard.
Another of the Eastern Bandits was Denny Zimmerman, who is planning on making it to this years Mod Reunion. Also hoping for Pete Hamilton (another Bandit), a former winner at both Daytona and Talladega.
There is also a tribute car built to all the original specs of the 2x Pinto, owned and built by Tobi Smith of Titusville.
