TQ Midgets invade Orlando

Last Night the Florida TQ Midgets made thier first event at Orlando Speedworld. With 7 cars showing up to the "early day" race... The heat was set up with six cars taking the green for 8 laps. Mike Elder in the #52 and Geoff Styner in #3 lead the feild to the start. Going into turn one, Styner took a commanding lead. On lap 4 coming out turn one, Elder took the inside line away from Styner and brought Brandon Cagle#10 with him. Elder took the win with Cagle and Styner rounding out the top three.
With the field inverted for the 25 lap feature, it was Joey McKinney #15 and Freddie Stutz #6 leading the field to the green. As the field headed for turn one, it was Stutz in the lead with Styner, coming from the fourth starting spot, right on his rear bumper. On lap 3 going into turn one, Styner took the inside line and drove by Stutz to take the lead. Coming strong from their back row starting spots, were Brandon Cagle and Mike Elder. On lap 7 coming out of turn two, Cagle pasted Styner for the lead and soon after Elder worked his way by. With only few laps remaining, Elder pulled the car into the infield with oil temp problems. Brandon Cagle went on to take the win with Styner and Stutz rounding out the top three.
