Jeff Choquette is a wonderful example of what a racer should be. Always polite, always willing to greet a fan and can surely drive a race car! he proved that this weekend a double header!
when jeff was in the winners circle i couldnt get my fat rump over the wall to get a picture. waiting for the right moment i asked him if i could get a quick shot from where i was standing. he came right over with a huge smile and hugged me and i got my shot.
i am hoping and praying there was someone at the track who noticed Jeffs abilities and attitude and maybe, just maybe...the right person feels the same way i do and jeff will get a huge chance to do something he strives so hard to do!
Jeff ....thank you for being the kind of driver and person you are. it is drivers like you who make this sport respectable and fun! there are lots of others too but this week was yours and im so proud of you!
