In light of the news that USA International / Lakeland would be shutting it's doors, Jim Flynn saw that there would be a demand for more racing entertainment in the west central Florida area.
Rushing to fill the gap, he has formed the Lockhart International Auto Racing Series ( hereafter referred to by it's acronym, LIARS ) and built a short 1/20th mile dirt facility just off of the Orange Blossom Trail. You will have to trade all of your full size race cars in on radio controlled cars but on the plus side, your tire bill will go way down.
At LIARS, there are no rules except that you must bribe the tech man with a beer.
Another idiosyncrasy of LIARS is that all drivers must drink. Partly, this is because you will need to have beer with you for the tech man but this is also considered a cost control measure. How much will a whole bunch of extra power help you if you can't keep it on the track? This will be sure to bring a new group of racers forward who have a non-standard skill set.
