The number one online racing community for the sunshine state of Florida is www.karnac.com<\/a>. The very popular Internet racing destination is joining up with the Florida Figure 8 Championship presented by the World Figure 8\u00ae Racing Tour to provide extra coverage for fans.<\/div>\n

The series events will be run at the Auburndale Speedway from February 12th to the 15th headlined by the fastest Figure 8 cars on the planet. In all six racing classes will fill the bill during this early season clash.

KARNAC Racing Community is a gathering spot for Florida motorsports coverage past, present, and future. The web page is the hub for many other sites under the KARNAC banner including Florida Stock Car Racing, Georgia Stock Car Racing, Southern Motor Racing, Real Racin USA, and Inside Florida Racing.<\/div>\n

Real Racin USA\u2019s Inside Florida Racing will have either a Figure 8 driver or personality on their show each week leading up to the Auburndale dates. The web site will also broadcast the February 15th campaign finale LIVE on the web. That special Internet offering will begin that evening at 6:30pm. Veteran announcers Rick Anges and Bill Green will call the action and conduct driver interviews. All of these airings will be archived on www.realracinusa.com<\/a> and will be available on iTunes. The conglomerate of KARNAC pages will also post photos, results, and articles during the four-day festival of speed. These may in addition appear in local print media.

\u201cThis connection with KARNAC provides more awesome exposure of this great spectator sport\u201d, exclaimed World Figure 8\u00ae Racing Tour personality Donald Walton. \u201cThe coverage will give fans that cannot make the journey to Auburndale Speedway a better feel for the battles between North and South drivers\u201d. The Figure 8 events are just the tip of the iceberg in these packed racing programs. V-8 Bombers, Mini Stocks, and Scramblers will compete for Florida championships while the Florida Open Wheel Lites have their own internal point\u2019s battle on the agenda. The Sportsman cars will have a one night challenge on Saturday as well. Look for more announcements over the upcoming weeks.<\/div>\n

The Florida Figure 8 Championship is sanctioned by the World Figure 8\u00ae Racing Tour. It has dates set for February 12th to the 15th, 2009 at the Auburndale Speedway. These events evolved from the legendary World Figure 8\u00ae Championship held each year at the EDCO Welding Indianapolis Speedrome\u00ae. The $20,000 to win, 33rd Annual World Figure 8\u00ae Championship is September 10th to 12th, 2009.<\/div>\n
