“Inside Florida Racing” Makes Dirt Racer February Winner <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"shanewilliams2008.jpg\"<\/a>It was a tough assignment for the Monday night crew of “Inside Florida Racing”, but in the end it looks like they picked the right driver. There was a ton of talent racing on Florida’s short tracks in February, and with names like Billy Moyer, Jimmy Blewett, and young talents such as Logan Ruffin winning races and winternationals championships it was no easy task to settle on a winner.<\/p>\n

Many media writers and promoters cast their votes and all the Real Racin’ USA hosts chimed in and on Monday night Shane Williams was the hands down winner. The dirt late model racer from Barberville, Florida, living a stones throw from Volusia Speedway Park, took the Pandora Jewelers Driver of the Month.<\/p>\n

Shane Williams won three out of four races against a very stout field in the National Late Model Series at the Super Bowl of Stock Car Racing held at Golden Isles Speedway. He also won a major event at North Florida Speedway early in the month. He put an exclamation point on things with a win in the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series at Ocala Speedway on the 29th of February. Williams and fellow dirt star Ivedent Lloyd put on a fierce battle in front of 4000 fans, with Williams masterfully using lapped traffic to defend his lead and take the win.
