\n\"dragbike.jpg\" Drag Racing and Dirt Late Model racing from America’s heartland are the featured topics on Tuesday’s Real Racin’ USA Live! 7-9 pm show.<\/p>\n

First off is Jerry Lewis<\/strong>, a drag racing standout from from Mechinicsville, Md, with his vintage bug which is the worlds Fastest Street Legal air cooled VW<\/strong> in the 1\/8 mile. ( 6.51 @ 111.00 mph). And yes he drives it on the street!<\/p>\n

IHRA<\/strong> Super Stock racer Mark Young<\/strong> from Wake Forest, NC will visit with hosts Rick Anges, Craig Clarke and Wayne Jefferson<\/strong>. Mark races a Super Stock Ford Mustang with a 289 TWO BARREL motor that will carry the wheels 3 ft high for 80 ft on the launch and blister the 1\/8 mile in the low, low sixes. (1\/4 mile runs 9.64 @ 136.00 mph) Mark also runs a 1969 Mustang in Super Stock.

Arkansas has eleven dirt tracks currently running. We are going to explore late model stock car racing in that part of the world with Christy Hudson<\/strong>. She is President of AMP Series (Arkansas Motorsport Professionals),<\/strong> an organization she created last year to make a good racing experience for dirt late models in here state.<\/p>\n

Joining us also from Arkansas is John Mitchell<\/strong>, one of the more accomplished veteran late model racers from Arkansas.

\nALL HARLEY DRAGS: the half hour weekly segment featuring the AHDRA.
\n<\/strong>If you are a regular listener to Real Racin’ USA Live! on Tuesday night, you are accustomed to hearing the adventures of the nation’s top drag racers on two wheels from the All Harley Drag Racing Association.<\/strong> Tonight is no exception.<\/p>\n

Tommy Grimes<\/strong> drives the Samson Ray Price Nitro Harley<\/strong> which has clocked a 226 MPH run. Grimes is fresh from the NHRA<\/strong> event at Bristol, and of course he will talk about what it is like driving for the Ray Price, a legend in Harley racing.<\/p>\n

Capping Tuesday’s show is General Manager of the AHDRA, Craig Tharpe<\/strong>. Craig also owns the recently revamped race track at Sturgis. With the Sturgis<\/strong> event coming soon, we thought it would be cool to talk with the man who has transformed the facility into a first class racing place for the fastest motorcyle riders on planet Earth. “It is a whole new ballgame at Stugis this year”, said Stagin’ Stevie LeTempt<\/strong>, host of the weekly AHDRA<\/strong> show.<\/p>\n
