Real Racin' USA Media
While teams of the United Dirt Late Model Challenge are busy preparing for the return to Georgia, a major promotional campaign has already begun for the August 16th "Battle on the Blacktop" at Charlotte County Motorsports Park.
The superfast Waycross Motor Speedway announced last week the wall between turn one and two is coming down. Listening to feedback from the drivers, the track made what is sure to be a welcome change for drivers familiar to the south Georgia oil based dirt track.
This move is sure to save some drivers from torn up race cars and make for a better overall show. Real Racin' USA hopes to have the track promoter on one of its radio show before the race.
Meanwhile Jack Smith from Real Racin' USA and CeCe Brooks from KIX Country 92.9 have teamed up to organize a media blitz in the South Florida markets leading up to the only asphalt race of the season for the UDLMCS.
The promotion includes a heavy radio presence on KIX Country and other Clear Channel stations in the area stations, plus a live remote the day of the race. Real Racin' USA's Full Throttle Friday show will be broadcast live from Hooters Restaurant in Port Charlotte, Fl. on Friday, August 8th, and will include UDLMCS cars on hand, ticket give-aways and more fun.
Stay tuned for daily press releases on the two big events scheduled in August for the fastest growing dirt racing series in the South.
